Rocio - the original

The original teardrop from the LRT, Rocio is a beautiful machine that has been refurbished and generally freshened up. The prototype has 120,000 miles and 4 years of on the road experience. Merlin, our engineer and chief product tester lets us know just how precious it is: "After 4 years living in and with 'Rocio' I am convinced it's the only way to go."
Rocio is not for sale. We consider this little girl priceless.
Wood is warm, natural, comforting, and tactile. We use wood as a design standard for its interesting visual cues: light and dark colors, accents and textures from grains. Structurally, wood is insulative, strong, light weight and sound deadening.
Merlin explains "I decided that if I was going to do a camper it would be a wooden teardrop. I had grown up in the 60’s on the So Cal coast. I always wanted to own a surfers ‘Woody”. You know 1934 Chev or the Classic 1949 Ford, so the style was a major factor."
